This week at Fabpad we have 5 students who are attending our Summer School. The students will produce a collection of repeat tiles in 3 different colour ways and a placement print. In addition, we have have asked each student to bring in a source of inspiration which will enable there collection to have a coherent theme. By the end of this course they will know how to produce digital files for printing, for fabric, paper and in fact any digital printing. We can't wait to see there finished prints!!

Recently we have been working with Sally Faye Coterill look at her illustrations with the link below.

Lately we have been working with some exciting new designers.

We will be sponsoring Zoe Beck at this years 100% Design in Earls Court. She will be showing there with her collective Print, Tuft and Fold.

zoe beck 2  Not only do Print, Tuft and Fold have a stand at this years 100% Design but they’ve also been asked to put the PTF stamp on the 100% Features Boulevard, a real compliment for the young design trio who are only exhibiting in 100% Futures for the 2nd year.  Positioned at the front entrance of Earl’s Court, Print Tuft & Fold aim to seize visitors’ attention with some seriously exuberant textiles as they enter the show. A colourful and comfy place to meet, relax, tweet, and take in great contemporary design. With thanks to the project sponsors: D&G Upholstery, Hill & Co Rugs, Reed Exhibitions, Jam Design and Fabpad.

Fabpad has excess ink from the printing process used. We would like to offer this ink which can be used for screen printing to those who are interested. It is reactive dye and a mixture of all the ink colours we use. We have litres of it going free - perfect for a recycling project!
